Description Art History The largest living animal ever evolved, including all the dinosaurs. At least one has been measured at over 100 feet long! It is "The" whale which one would see mounted in full size in the Museum of Natural History in New York. Although they formerly were found world wide, whaling reduced their numbers dramatically from which they have not and likely will not ever recover (1930-31, over 30,000 killed). Under all circumstances, they are pretty much dependent on the polar regions for the plankton and krill which make up their diets, and these would be good places to look for one. SIZE: 2.25"x.5" |
