People's Republic of Alaska - Pin
Out of Stock

Description
What if Alaska had not been sold by Russia?

In 1927, Benny Benson won a grade school contest to design the new Alaska State flag, and it remains one of the finest of any. Simple, appropriate and beautiful. Color versions suit various moods, events and causes. Black cross-walks in our astronomy section, but could also be worn in times of morning for the state.( They were quite popular during the oil spill for instance). Environmentalists like the green version, and the red? Well, if Alaska hadn't been sold by Russia and remained part of the Soviet Union? Surely Benny would have used International Socialist Red! SIZE: 1"x.6"
