Murre Egg - Pin
Out of Stock

Description
Art History - No Longer Available Murres, both Common and Thick-billed, are the main birds out on the Chain.

Murre egg has a particularly steep (pointed) end to it. When you roll it on a flat surface you will note that this shape tends to roll in a circle, not away from you like a ball or rounder egg. Because the eggs are laid and hatched on narrow ledges of cliffs, pointy eggs that don't roll off win, and round eggs that do roll off onto the beach below are evolutionary losers. SIZE: .75"x1"
