Located on the coast of northern Maine.
It's out on a spit of land called West Quoddy Head (what ever a quoddy is, east or west), and warns of the treacherous waters off the mouth of the St. Croix. The light was perhaps more important in the days of sail when American ships dominated trans-Atlantic maritime commerce. SIZE: .5"X1.5"
