RECENT ASKING PRICES OR SALES (*) OF AMERICAN AUSTINS

Here are some general comments from someone who should know (not
me) about coupe prices.
Out of all the cars Austin and Bantam made, they made more
Austin Coupes than anything so therefor there are more around.
So a #1 condition car, prefect, no or very few flaws, is worth
around $12,000 - $14,000 (there aren't too many of these). A #5
un-restored car missing most or all of the hard to find parts
have sold from $200.00 - $900.00 in the past depending on condition.
In the middle, a #2-3 car. A coupe not to far from me that is
about 80% done, rebuilt engine, all of the body work done, only
in need ofupholstery and some minor assembly, they are asking
$5,000 - $6,000 range.You could probably get it for around $4,500
maybe, it's been for sale for 5
months.
